Spring has returned to the Côte d’Azur and with it my urge to be poetic, like the budding of flowers and trees, and with the sun rising earlier and earlier; though it still be cool enough that I want to stay snug in bed (if I can sleep through the rumble and crash of the passing garbage truck every morning).

I really do enjoy playing off other people’s haiku and recently @SeditiousBroom has proven to be an interesting playmate 😀

As always, I enjoy turbulent weather or at least the potential for it. Early in the day Friday, the sky was showing such promise of being an interesting day, that I was inspired. However, I ended up being short changed; typical of politicians and deities.

And for Kathy L. who keeps asking me for a haiku…
